GOLD. 1793 George III 'Spade' Guinea. King George III reigned for 60 years and during this reign the Guinea underwent a number of changes with no fewer than 6 different portraits of the monarch being used. The Guineas issued from 1787 to 1799 have become known as 'Spade Guineas' because of the spadeshaped shield on the reverse. This coin is in EF condition.
GOLD. 1813 George III, 7th head Half Guinea. This is the final year that the Half Guinea was issued, soon to be replacedby the Half Sovereign. This coin is in excellent, EF plus condition and retains some of its original mint bloom.
