With the programme is a rare ticket for Thursday, December 16, 1943 at 2:30pm. It is stamped s19.
The wartime play was staged to raise money for the Wool Fund.
Both princesses appeared in these pantomimes between 1940 and 1944. The Royal Household Wool Fund raised funds to buy wool to knit comforters for soldiers. The shows, produced with local children, attracted audiences in the hundreds.
The 1943 production of Aladdin was especially important to Princess Elizabeth, who was excited and delighted that a young naval officer would be attending the shows.
Prince Philip of Greece would be engaged to Princess Elizabeth four years later.
This charming, important and rare pair of documents comes from an ATS member, who attended the show while stationed at Windsor during WWII.
