Marilyn Monroe

On the night of May 19, 1962, Marilyn Monroe gave one of the most famous performances of her career, during a celebration for President John F. Kennedy’s 45th birthday at Madison Square Garden in New York. This lock of Marilyn's hair is from that day.

Elvis Presley

At the height of his fame, Elvis Presley was drafted into the US Army, triggering an anguished outcry from his young female fans. These large locks of Elvis Presley hair are from the famed Gary Pepper collection of Elvis memorabilia.

John Lennon

This is a lock of John Lennon’s hair trimmed in September 1966 in preparation for filming How I Won the War, along with a photocopy of Lennon’s signed call sheet and certificate of authenticity from Heritage Auctions.

King Edward IV

A lock of hair belonging to King Edward IV, retrieved from his tomb when it was discovered in 1789. Kept inside a bone, screw-lid jar dated 1483, the same year the monarch was buried.

Justin Bieber

In February 2011, teen sensation Justin Bieber cut off his famous locks. TV personality Ellen DeGeneres tweeted, “All I want for my birthday is a lock of Justin Bieber’s hair.” Bieber was happy to oblige. Bieber donated some of the hair to his favourite charity, Pencils of Promise, who in turn contacted Paul Fraser Collectibles. We acquired it for a charitable donation.

Neil Armstrong

Hairdressing scissors and a comb used to cut Neil Armstrong's hair, accompained by 25 strands belonging to the first man on the moon.

Bob Marley

A hugely rare piece of Bob Marley’s dreadlock and accompanying autograph.

Acquired by a teenager at the filming of Top of the Pops at BBC’s Television Centre in London on Thursday, June 22, 1978. 

Winston Churchill

A substantial and unique lock of Winston Churchill's hair.

Kept by his barber, together with newspaper clippings on their relationship and a 10 shilling note Churchill gave the barber for a haircut.

Napoleon Bonaparte

A lock of approximately 20 strands of Napoleon's dark hair, with superb provenance. The strands are approx. 2 inches long and neatly tied together. They're presented in a wooden box with a glass panel in the lid.

Kurt Cobain

The only known lock of Kurt Cobain’s hair ever offered for sale. Collected by a hairdresser who trimmed Cobain in the early 1990s, the lock was gifted to her niece on her 18th birthday.

Duke of Wellington

A substantial quantity of short clipped, light coloured hair from the Duke of Wellington, cut in August 1841. Presented in a clear container, mounted on a maroon fabric background, beneath the original envelope in which the hair was preserved. Framed and glazed in a modern wooden frame.

Lord Nelson

A generous lock of Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson’s hair, originally housed in an antique carved agate box (circa 1800–1810) with gold band, measuring 4.5cm.

King George V

A large lock of hair belonging to King George V, who reigned from 1910 to 1936.

King Charles I

A lock of hair belonging to King Charles I, framed neatly alongside a red wax stamp and a handwritten note dated April 1813.

A small collection of hair from King George III, dating back to 1814 and presented inside of a metallic locket.
