Elizabeth Taylor

The most famous was to Richard Burton, whom she met on the set of Cleopatra in Rome in 1962. The affair made headlines worldwide and drew condemnation from the Vatican. They married in 1964, with Burton gifting her the Krupp Diamond and the 69-carat Taylor-Burton Diamond. Devorced in 1974, remarried in 1975, and separating for good less than a year later. Burton later called her "the only true love of my life," and Taylor kept several of his gifts until her death in 2011.
