  • A rare menu signed by all 22 members of England's 1966 World Cup winning squad and manager Alf Ramsay.

  • Autographs obtained just 40 days before England won the World Cup

The 1966 FIFA World Cup is the only World Cup football tournament to have been won by England, who beat West Germany 4-2 in the final on July 30, 1966.

Almost 70 years on, the 1966 World Cup final remains one of the defining moments in English sporting history.

An Anglo-American Sporting Club boxing dinner evening menu signed handsomely by the 1966 England World Cup football team at the London Hilton on June 20, 1966.

Manager Ramsay had finalised his 22-man squad just two days earlier on June 18, following an intensive training camp.

This event was almost certainly their first public outing together as the World Cup squad.

Every signature on this menu was acquired at the same time in the same place, making this a rare and highly desirable collector's item.
