Great Britain 1849 (September 11th) entire letter from the 'Custom House Jersey' to London, endorsed 'on Service' on the front and with a fine strike of the handstruck "2" (type J21) in black "JERSEY/SP11/1849" code "A" double arc circular datestamp in red.
A very fine quality example of this rare Postage Due handstruck "2" and the finest example we have ever seen.
