A very fine mint four margin vertical block of six lettered GJ-IK. Lightly mounted on top two stamps only.
A magnificent multiple rarely seen in this quality and a splendid exhibition showpiece of the penny red.
The penny red replaced the penny black and proved to be the stamp which empowered the Victorian communications revolution.
