Frank Sinatra (1915 – 1998) was one of the most iconic and influential performers of the 20th century.

Known to his fans as 'Ol' Blue Eyes', or simply ' The Voice', Sinatra has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, making him amongst the biggest recording artists in music history.

He was also a renowned screen actor, winning an Academy Award for his role in From Here to Eternity, and starring in critically-acclaimed films such as The Man with the Golden Arm, The Manchurian Candidate and Guys and Dolls.

Sinatra was later awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Ronald Reagan in 1985, and the Congressional Gold Medal in 1997.

A superb vintage, black and white three-quarter-length signed photograph of Frank Sinatra.

The photograph was taken on June 30, 1950, at Idlewild Airport in New York.

It shows Sinatra waving goodbye to fans as he boards a plane for London, and his first-ever U.K performances at the London Palladium.

Crisply signed and inscribed 'To Johnnie, best wishes, Frank Sinatra' in blue ball point pen.

Photograph measures 8" by 10".

With one minor surface crease to the lower right corner which slightly affects the 'S' of the surname.

Otherwise in excellent condition.
