Description
Trinidad & Tobago 1905-06 set of 8 to 1s, 1d to 8d Postage Dues in blocks of 4, watermark MCA (1d, 2d, 4d, 5d, 6d corner marginal with plate number '1', 8d lower marginal with plate number '1'), the 1s in horizontal strip of 4 from upper left corner with plate number '1', SGD10/17.
A wonderful quality collection, mint with original gum (mostly unmounted or, otherwise, lightly hinged). The 2d is faintly toned with marginal separation and the 1s with M/S annotations in margin. Overall a very fine set with fresh appearance.
A particularly difficult to assemble collection as scarce in multiples.
