South Africa 1948-49 2d black and violet Postage Due, type D4 with "SUIDAFRIKA", block of 8 (2x4), the centre block of 4 (R15/5-6, R16/5-6) all showing variety "Thick (double) "2D", SGD36a.
A fine and fresh unmounted mint block with full original gum.
Particularly scarce as a block and in such fine condition.
