A superb used four margin left hand marginal example lettered 'NA', showing full deckle edge selvedge and inscription, beautifully cancelled by a Liverpool "466" numeral.
An exceptional example.
The 2d pale blue, plate 3 was finished on 25 February 1841 and printing from it commenced two days later. The stamps were printed on Small Crown watermarked paper, which often shows considerable blueing.
