Spanish actor Antonio Banderas (born 1960) began his onscreen career working with the celebrated auteur Pedro Almodovar. He made the move into Hollywood with The Mambo Kings in 1992. By the end of the decade he was one of the biggest stars in the industry, starring in blockbuster The Mask of Zorro (1998).
