St. Vincent 1885-93 6d violet, watermark CA, perforations 14 (comb), SG52. An upper left corner block of 4 with brilliant original gum (three stamps unmounted).
Only 55 sheets were printed, some of which were overprinted for revenue purposes. A very rare and beautiful multiple, considerably finer than the upper right block (ex Jaffe and Bessemer) which realised £5,400 in March 2006 at auction.
