A very fine unused original gum block of four of the 1858 2d blue, Plate 7, lettered 'RK' to 'SL'.
A pristine block of four, with the lower pair unmounted mint, and exceptionally well centred for this issue and plate number, making it particularly appealing to condition-conscious collectors. The stamps show deep colour and clear impressions, with full perforations and strong visual symmetry across the block.
Blocks from Plate 7 are rarely encountered in this quality, especially with part unmounted original gum and such precise alignment. An important multiple from this rare printing plate.
