Very fine stampless entire envelope from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil to London, rated maunscript "8" on the front and bearing the boxed "SHIP LETTER/GUERNSEY" handstamp in red on the reverse, alongside a London receiving mark for JU.10.1840, also in red.
An exceptional example of this rare ship letter handstamp.
