Canada 1915 2c carmine-red 'WAR TAX' (type 46), lower left corner block of 8 (4x2) with 'OTTAWA-No-2A' imprint, SG229.
A very fine quality mint block of eight with original gum, (five stamps are unmounted including the lower row).
A very scarce and lovely positional piece, with above average centring and exceptional colour.
