A stunning 1955 Queen Mother signed Christmas card
The Queen Mother signed and sent out this Christmas card in 1955.
The image, captured by Cecil Beaton, features the Queen Mother sat in front of a portrait, and is beautifully signed "from Elizabeth R", in black ink.
The card is signed by the Queen Mother on the left-hand inside panel, with the portrait on the right. It bears a gilt embossed royal crown on the front.
This rare card card measures approximately 7 x 8 inches when closed.
The Christmas card comes with superb provenance, having been originally presented to a valued employee at Buckingham Palace and passed down through his family for more than 60 years.
