American cartoonist Charles Schulz (1922-2000) is best known for his comic strip Peanuts which featured the now iconic characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
Peanuts was published in over 2,600 newspapers, in 75 countries and 21 languages and reprints of the strip regularly appear in newspapers today.
