New Zealand 1862 6d red-brown, watermark large star, rouletted 7 at Auckland, SG55.
An exceptionally large used example with complete separations showing portion of adjoining stamp at foot, lightly cancelled by part '1' numeral. Minor thinning, which does not detract.
A Victorian classic British Commonwealth stamp with "Chalon Head" image of Queen Victoria, based on the portrait of the Queen on her coronation in 1837 by Alfred Chalon, was used from 1855-1873.
