Very fine used example sent from Whitely to Yarm, cancelled in error by black and red Maltese Crosses. Backstamped by a Whitby Circular date stamp for AU.31.1840. A rare and unusual franking.
Accompanied with a 2008 British Philatelic Association Certificate of Authenticity.
