An incredibly rare and poignant posed Royal signed photograph of excellent quality shows all six children of George V and Queen Mary around 1909.
A childhood moment that foreshadows some of the most dramatic decades in all British Royal history, this circa 1909 photograph shows and is signed by Edward, Albert, Mary, Henry, George and John.
Their father became king in 1910.
Both Edward and Albert were to succeed him, Edward for only around a year as Edward VIII before his relationship with American divorcee Wallace Simpson caused the 1936 Abdication Crisis. His brother Albert became King George VI, father of Elizabeth II and grandfather of Charles III.
Prince John died aged just 13 in 1919 and sets of these signatures are exceptionally rare.
Clear, strong first-name only signatures on photograph affixed to a slightly larger mount, measuring 4.5" by 3.75" and in fine condition.
