Great Britain 1840 2d Mulready Lettersheet (Forme 1, Stereo a96), SGME3.
A very fine used example sent from London to Jersey, cancelled by a crisp strike of the London No.1 in Maltese Cross. Backstamped in London and Jersey for SP.22+24.1843.
Very rare especially in such wonderful condition.
Provenance: Ex. "Mayflower" Grand Prix Collection.
Accompanied with a 2010 British Philatelic Association (BPA) Certificate of Authenticity.
