A bottle of the world's longest-matured whisky has sold for £17,800 ($25,777) at Whisky Auctioneer.

Bidding closed on April 5.
Produced by Gordon & MacPhail, the 75-year-old Generations Mortlach was sold along with two crystal glasses, a presentation plinth and a travel bag made from Aniline leather.
It's one of only 100 presentation bottles released.
The record for a regular sized (70cl) bottle of whisky is $94,000, set for a 55-year-old Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve in 2012.
