As we've reported, Acker, Merrall and Condit is holding two major wine sales this month. The first is taking place in New York.
They then round out the month with their 14th sale in Hong Kong, beginning Friday afternoon, March 25th, at 4pm at the Island Shangri-La with our second session beginning Saturday, March 26th, at 1pm at Grissini in the Grand Hyatt.
In typical Acker fashion, they have packed potentially HK$60m (US$7.7m) into this fabulous catalogue and filled it with plenty of choice lots, spanning all of the greatest, finest and rarest wines from all over the world.
One of the sale's featured collections is the second offering from the personal collection of Henri Jayer from Martine Saunier, long-time importer of Henri Jayer into the US. This will offer excellent investments.
These wines came directly from Henri's cellar straight to Martine, where they have remained untouched ever since. It is literally perfect provenance for one of the rarest, most adored and collectible producers ever to make Burgundy.
The grand finale in the March Hong Kong sale is a large slice, over 200 lots, from a tremendous collection, and Acker's third offering from this incredible Asian cellar.
