This year’s annual Auction Napa Valley raised $15.7m for charity.
The sale was held at the luxurious Meadowood Napa Valley resort last week.
The Napa Valley produces some of America's best wines
Buyers had the opportunity to purchase some of the best wines in the California region, with a horizontal collection of 2007 bottles from Colgin Cellars taking the top spot.
The lot also included trips to the Colgin Cellars vineyard and a visit to France’s Champagne region.
It brought in a massive $2.1m.
Other highlights included a joint lot from the Antinori Family Wine Estate and the Staglin Family Vineyard, which offered 10 large bottles and a guided holiday to Tuscany.
It realised $1.2m.
The auction was hosted by several members of the multi-talented Coppola family, including Roman Coppola, Francis-Ford Coppola and Sofia Coppola.
The family owns a vineyard in the valley.
Roman Coppola said: “Napa Valley is our family’s home and we’re grateful for the generosity of our bidders, fellow vintners, partners and donors, local chefs, volunteers and every member of the community that comes together to make Auction Napa Valley a success year after year.
“The funds we raised this weekend will help strengthen families and make the seemingly impossible possible for tens of thousands of our neighbours."
All of the proceeds from the sale will go to local community health organisations and children’s charities.
