If you fancy owning some bottles of the best wine that money can buy, then you need to check out Heritage's online Beverly Hills Signature Wine Auction, which ends tomorrow (June 15).
Produce from the Romanne-Conti vineyard in Burgundy, France, is considered to be among the best in the world, and was described as a 'delicacy' by critic Clive Coates. Heritage are selling off these 12 bottles of 1966 vintage, and have given a guide price of $120,000, so that's $10,000 each.
Considering that bottles of the 1990 vintage have sold for $10,953 in the past, anyone bidding on the lot could be getting themselves a bargain. Last October, 77 bottles were sold for a price of $750,609, showing just how respected Romanne-Conti wine is.

Also being sold in the same catalogue are 12 bottles of Chateau Petrus 2000, said to have a 'monumental' level of complexity, with an expected value of between $37,500-47,500.
Sourced from the Pomeral appellation in the prestigious Bordeaux production area of France, this wine is also used to selling for very high prices.
Just last month, a case sold for $19,120 in Chicago. The opportunity to buy this fantastic wine is one that should not be passed up, especially with each bottle working out at around $3,000 each.

The fact that production of the wine is limited because of the small size of the estate, this is an investment which could only get better with age. No true collector or connoisseur can afford to miss this sale.
Other fine wines being sold as part of the auction include 12 bottles of Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982 and 12 bottles of Chateau Latour 1982.
Recently, a sale of Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982 sold for $51,289, also in Chicago - testament to the wine's ongoing appeal among savvy collectors.
