The Macallan M Decanter, a special meeting of whisky and glass design excellence, is coming to auction at Sotheby's Hong Kong in January.
The six-litre Lalique-designed bottle of Macallan M will sell for an estimated $260,000-500,000 on January 18 at the auction of fine and rare wines.

A 64-year-old Macallan in a Lalique-designed bottle holds the present whisky auction record: $460,000, set at Sotheby's New York in 2010.
The auction record for a whisky in a regular bottle stands at the $94,000 achieved in March 2012 by one of just 15 bottles of Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts.
