World renowned port producer Ferreira is to auction a bottle of its 1815 vintage to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.

The sale will take place in association with Sotheby's at the Tower of London on May 7.
Proceeds from the sale of the bottle will go to the Portuguese ALS charity APELA.
According to Decanter.com, the wine is "lively on the palate with good acidity balanced by residual sugars, dominated by dry fruits, possessing a balanced and lasting aftertaste."
