Habanos SA, the renowned worldwide distributer of Cuban cigars, has announced that it will be shipping all three of its limited edition sizes this month.
Its 2010 offerings are in all-new sizes, including a Montecristo Grand Edmundo, Partagas Serie D Especial and a Trinidad Short Robusto.
Each is "manufactured in small quantities, by expert Cuban factory cigar rollers to meet the expectations of the most demanding smokers," according to Habanos' website.
Since 2000, the Habanos SA's regular Edición Limitada releases have included such prestigious brands as Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, Hoyo de Monterrey and H Upmann.
Of the three new releases, the Montecristo Grand Edmundo (measuring 52mm in girth and 150mm in the length) marks the first time that Habanos has produced the Cañonazo size outside the Cohiba brand, promising all the Montecristo's characteristic flavour.
And collectors will be eager to sample the full flavour of the much appreciated Serie D of Partagás. The Partagás Serie D Especial measures 50mm in girth and 141mm in length.
Third in Habanos' Edición Limitada is one of the most exclusive Habanos brands: Trinidad, represented by the Trinidad Short Robustos T (50mm in girth and 102mm in length).
The three releases have each been made with the best Cuban two-year aged tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo Region.
