The French city of Cannes was subjected to another heist yesterday (July 31), following the $136m raid on the Carlton International Hotel on Sunday (July 28).

The second robbery saw two armed men with their faces concealed enter the Kronometry store, which sells luxury watches to Cannes' wealthy residents. Brandishing a grenade, both men escaped with a haul of fine timepieces.
It is the second robbery in five months at the Kronometry store, with Cannes' police union representative criticising the city's approach to security, stating that it is becoming a routine target for thieves, according to the Huffington Post.
The value of the watches is not yet known.
