Some weeks ago, as we reported, a collection of luxury jewellery worth £9m-10m was taken from the hotel room of a Saudi Princess in Sardinia.
Now about three quarters of it has been found, dumped not far from the hotel from which it was taken.
It's thought that many of the pieces may have been too unique, and the robbers considered selling them on to be too much of a risk, given the notoriety of the crime.
Thieves broke into suite in the Colonna Pevero Hotel in Porto Cervo, on Sardinia's Emerald Coast and removed the safe whole. It was later found empty in a dumpster.
The name of the Princess has been kept out of the press. The investigation to find the thieves and the rest of the loot continues.
