In a special charity auction, held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on September 29, Bonhams will team up with Hublot to offer 12 unique boxing themed watches.

Each of the watches, designed especially for the auction, commemorates one of the world's 12 greatest boxers. Made by the Swiss Luxury watch brand Hublot, they are being sold to raise money for the WBC boxing pension fund, which supports retired boxers' pensions and emergency funds in over 40 countries across the world. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the cause.
The watches imitate the design of the championship belts presented to each of the fighters during the career. Made from 18k king gold, black ceramic and titanium, each piece features a Porosus Hornback green alligator strap, with a black rubber spare. They also boast unique boxing features, such as special three minute counter and the World Boxing symbol on the back case, engraved with the name of the specific boxer.
The 12 winning bidders will receive their watch from the boxer himself, in a staged ring set up at the Bellagio Hotel.
Hublot chairman, Jean-Claude Biver, commented: "Hublot feels proud and privileged to have joined the fight of the legends of this great sport. These 12 unique pieces are reflecting the 'fusion' between the fierce competitors of the historic sport of boxing and the accomplishments of 450 years of Swiss watch making art."
Each of the remarkable watches have been given a $60,000-100,000 estimate, with Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman and Sugar Ray Leonard expecting to see the highest bids.
