In spring 2011, the new Benzinger Boutique collection by Grieb & Benzinger was presented. Since the company's ateliers are open to individual requests, Polaris was manufactured as a Black & White edition in response to a customer.

This has created another true eye-catcher in a solid 43mm case made of 750/000 rose gold. The Polaris Black & White once more shows that Grieb & Benzinger timepieces can more than hold their own in a highly competitive market.

The small production volume of about 100 Boutique watches per year, resulting from the enormous vertical range of manufacture by hand, makes these timepieces particularly rare and exclusive, and the Polaris model has turned the heads of all fans of visual mechanical parts.

The complete watch movement is a work of art and displays its beauty on the back as well - guilloché, hand-skeletonising and hand-engraving as far as the eye can see. This peerless movement finishing is a speciality of Grieb & Benzinger.

The hand-guilloched, multipiece dial of solid sterling silver shines with golden applications and a white Breguet Frost Finish, a technique which is world-wide exclusively applied by Grieb & Benzinger and underlines the timeless classic appearance of the watch.
