$19k ruby ring is a last-minute Christmas gift

Collectors who are quick on the mouse still have an opportunity to purchase some post sale items from Heritage's recent Signature Jewellery Auction.

Ruby, diamond and platinum ring ($19k)

A ruby, diamond and platinum ring is the star of the remaining items.

It features a marquise-shaped ruby measuring 16 x 6.75 x 5.75mm and weighing 5.05 carats, enhanced by full-cut diamonds weighing 2.28 carats in total, set in platinum with a gross weight of 17.20g.

It can be bought now for $19,120 (originally estimated at $18,000-24,000) or offers are still open via Heritage's website for one more day.

Also on offer is a pair of South Sea Cultured pearl, diamond and gold convertible earrings by Paul Flato, each featuring full-cut diamonds weighting a total of around 2.50 carats.

Earrings by Paul Flato ($18k)

American Paul Flato (1900-1999) opened his first shop in New York City, initially catering to socialites, and later 1930s Hollywood icons including Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich and Charlie Chaplin.

The earrings are currently valued at $17,925 (they went to auction with an $15,000 - $20,000 estimate). Again, interested parties have one day left to purchase of make an offer.

These two items are available to buy alongside a selection of other unsold items from the sale. For more information, see Heritage Auction Galleries' website.
