£130k for a sparkling pear-shape diamond ring

If you're a collector of fine jewellery, then mark April 8 in your calendar for Fellows & Sons' Antique and Modern Jewellery Auction which promises a number of valuable and singular lots.

Among the prized trinkets for sale is a single stone pear shape diamond ring of 12.17cts.

According to Fellows & Sons' description, the ring is in good condition with minor scratches to the back of the ring shank.

The stone has a Anchorcert certification no 1/19911-001 giving a colour of J and a clarity SI1, flanked by a pear shape diamond of roughly 0.50ct on either side.

Measuring 4.2 cm long and 2.2 cm wide and weighing 2,00cts, the jewel is estimated at a glistening £90,000-£130,000.

Over 800 lots will feature in the sale, with pre-sale viewings held from 6-8 April. Fellows & Sons are based in Birmingham, UK.
