You might want to keep your eyes glued to this unique piece, which is appearing for sale at Quittenbaum Kunstauktionen in München, Germany, this evening (February 15).
Pictured below is a classic "Doney" 14-inch television set originally designed by Richard Sapper and Marco Zanuso in 1962.
The television was made by Brionvega of Milan and is a perfect example of how yesterday's fashionable technologies have become today's fascinating collectibles.

Measuring 37.5 x 36 x 33 cm, the television is constructed from chrome-plated metal, black plastic and perspex.
It will appear at Quittenbaum Kunstauktionen with a €7,000-8,000 pre-sale estimate in a velvet sack. And rest assured, its original instruction manual is included (albeit protected by perspex).
