This coming January, collectors from around the world will be offered a unique chance to preview and bid on a selection of Fine French and European Antiques as well as Decorative objects by the premier cabinet makers and artisans of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The collection will include fine furniture by well known French cabinet makers such as Francois Linke, Theodore Millet, Henry Dasson, Joseph-Emmanuel Zwiener as well as Fine Art by important Continental artists and sculptors.
According to a statement by the auction house, Simpson Galleries of Houston, Texas: "The unique strength of this collection is its overall condition. These items were collected not only for their rareness, but also for the quality of the pieces.

"Most of these items have been kept in the condition that they were made. This is a rare and unique opportunity to see and bid on such a refined collection."
Antique furniture is still proving itself to be among the strongest and most highly-valued assets on the collectors' markets.
Big upcoming sales include the sale of nine outstanding pieces, commissioned and designed for an American family from 1929-1930.
All the furniture has been in storage for the past 25 years, remains for the most part in its original condition and finish, and is estimated to sell for $2.4m.

Other coveted furniture items presently for sale on the private markets include this important George III period mahogany and satinwood cabinet designed by John Linnell, circa 1775, previously of Castle Howard, one of the grandest private residences in Britain.
Linnell was a prolific and leading London furniture maker during the last third of the 18th century. So valued are his furniture works today, that its price is only available on application.
