An iconic Michael Jackson glove starred in Julien's Auctions' Beverly Hills Icons & Idols auction, held from December 2-4.
Studded with diamonds, the glove was worn by the King of Pop during his Bad Tour in the 1980s, and emerged as Julien's star lot for a final price of $330,000.
The Swarovski crystal-covered glove's final value sold for more than ten-times its $20,000-30,000 pre-sale estimate.
Michael Jackson's gloves, like this $212,000 example sold in Hong Kong in 2009, pack a punch on the auction block |
Other highlights in the sale include a fedora belonging to the late singer, sold for $72,000, while his signed jacket was auctioned for $96,000.
