McDonald's is offering a bottle of Big Mac sauce and a dispenser in an eBay charity sale.

This is the first time a bottle of Big Mac sauce has been offered for sale in the UK

Bidding on the lot stands at £40,700 ($58,962) ahead of the February 16 close date, with the proceeds from the sale to go to Ronald McDonald's House Charities.

This is the first time a bottle of Big Mac sauce has ever been offered in the UK, although it has been sold before in Australia, where in 2014 a bottle went for $18,000 in another charity auction.

The recipe, which is believed to include onion, garlic and mustard, remains a closely guarded secret.
