If you'll regular reader of Paul Fraser Collectibles, then you'll be aware that celebrity hair is among the strongest niches of memorabilia collecting.
But, if you think that collecting hair is unusual (the hobby actually dates back to Victorian times) then just take a look at Omega Auctions' upcoming sale in Stockport, UK.

Included among the auctioneer's lots is John Lennon's tooth - a genuine specimen for the mouth of the Fab Four legend.
The tooth was 'gifted' by Lennon to his former housekeeper Dot Jarlett, nicknamed "Aunty Dot" by the singer, when she worked for him in the 1960s.
"He was in the kitchen and he had this tooth which he had wrapped in a piece of paper," Dot's son Barry Jarlett told the BBC.
After initially asking Dot to dispose of the tooth, he wryly added: "Or, as your daughter's a Beatles fan, you can give to her as a souvenir."
Dot chose the latter option, and Barry's sister kept the tooth safe all these years.
It is now set to sell on November 5 at Omega - the firm which recently auctioned Alan Wilder of '80s synth poppers Depeche Mode's memorabilia collection.
Lennon's tooth is expected to sell for £10,000 (approximately $15,762).
And this isn't the first Lennon collectible of such a 'personal nature'.
UK collectibles retailer A Small Piece of History is selling four pieces of bed linen, each slept on by one of The Beatles, at £595 for four pieces. The linen dates to The Beatles inaugural tour of the USA in 1964, from the Whittier Hotel in Detroit.
