A staircase that was removed from the Eiffel Tower is set to sell on November 25 at Artcurial in Paris.

The 15-step section was once part of the tower's original spiral staircase, which was removed, dismantled and cut into 24 sections to comply with health and safety regulations in 1983. One of these is now estimated at $27,000-40,000.
Another section of the original steps is preserved at the Eiffel Tower, while three are housed at Parisian museums. The remainder were sold at auction.
