An election fundraising auction held by the Conservative party on February 9 included a bronze statue of Margaret Thatcher that received a final bid of £210,000 ($320,882).

The auction included activities with various members of the cabinet

The statue was one of a series of lots that included holidays in Santorini, an iron man challenge with Iain Duncan Smith and (a little bizarrely) a JCB.

Guests at the London function included high profile business figures such as Peter Stringfellow and Jacqueline Gold.
