An 18th century Christmas sled is among the highlights of Bonhams' newly announced Carriage Collection Sale on March 7 in London.

The 150 piece collection of Victorian carriages and coaches offered in the sale comes from a European industrialist, with some lots dating back as far as the 17th century.
The spectacular sled, befitting of a certain impending red-suited fellow, will sell with a £4,000-6,000 ($6,245-9,368) estimate.
Other important lots include an ex-Royal British Mews 1835 Travelling Landau Coach, which is described by Bonhams as "one of the most historically significant carriages to be offered on the open market in many years."
It's expected to make between £200,000 and £300,000 ($312,272-468,408).
