A sale of highly coveted and collectible clothing, carpets, tapestries and fabrics by renowned designers Chanel are going under the hammer, tomorrow.
Highlights from the vast collection of items dating from 1910 to the present day include this historic Chanel haute couture Cannes gown from circa 1935.
The long black silk dress, from 31 Rue Cambon Paris Biarritz, features a unique neckline and puffed sleeves hanging halfway down on the shoulder.

Edged with white organdie, the vintage dress will be draped under the hammer with an estimate of €4,500-5,000.
It will be one of many treasured items in the sale which begins tomorrow, February 24, in Paris and continues into February 25. An unmissable event for lovers of fashion and collectors alike.
The auction will be held by Cornette de Saint Cyr.
