A pair of boots identical to the ones presented to Steven Gerrard and worn by the midfielder during his final game for Liverpool have sold for £40,000 ($60,744).
They were sold to benefit the European Refugee Crisis Appeal, with the final bids being placed on eBay on November 16.

Over 180 bids were made for the lot, as fans tussled for this exceptional piece of Liverpool FC history.
Only 17 pairs of the Adidas Predator boots were made, the majority of which are owned by Gerrard - including the last pair he played in.
The lot displays the words: "You leave a legend, you'll return a hero. The city of Liverpool is always with you. You'll never walk alone."
Gerrard enjoyed a spectacular career at Liverpool, taking over as captain in 2003. He left earlier this year to join US team LA Galaxy.
Rob Arnold, a spokesman for the Manchester and Liverpool branch of the Red Cross, said: "Steven Gerrard epitomises the spirit of Liverpool.
"A local boy who has never lost touch with his roots, is passionate about the City and its people and recognises that Liverpool is a City that cares.
"This is the Liverpool that came together to organise the fantastic With Love from Liverpool concert in just a few days and a City that has given its support and welcome to refugees and asylum seekers for many years."
