The jersey worn by Miami Heat's LeBron James in Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals while suffering with cramps has sold for an outstanding sum through the official NBA auction site.

The jersey, sized 2XL plus an extra 2 inches, sold for $50,052.
The infamous game saw the San Antonio Spurs pitched against the Heat on June 5, but was marred when an air conditioning unit broke, bringing the temperature to almost tropical levels.
This brought on cramps for James, who nonetheless scored 25 points, six rebounds and make three steals.
The Spurs went on to win 110-95, comfortably securing the title by four games to one later in the month.
The buyer may have spotted a good investment opportunity. In 1997, the NBA Finals saw a similar occurrence, when a flu-stricken Michael Jordan continued to play in one of the most iconic games of the 1990s.
His shoes from the "Flu Game" recently achieved $105,000 at auction, and with LeBron James considered this generation's answer to Jordan, the shirt could easily sell for as much in years to come.
