A shirt worn by legendary All Blacks captain Dave Gallaher on a tour of the UK in 1905 is up for auction at Roger Jones & Co in Cardiff.
|
It could set a new record for a rugby shirt when it crosses the block on October 9 with a valuation of £20,000-40,000 ($30,388-60,766).
Gallaher led the Original All Blacks, the first rugby team from New Zealand to play outside of the Antipodes.
The record is held by another Original All Blacks shirt that made £22,000 ($33,428) at Graham Budd Auctions earlier this year.
