Dave Gallaher's All Blacks shirt to set new record?

A shirt worn by legendary All Blacks captain Dave Gallaher on a tour of the UK in 1905 is up for auction at Roger Jones & Co in Cardiff.

All Black Gallaher
Gallaher was a key figure in All Blacks history

It could set a new record for a rugby shirt when it crosses the block on October 9 with a valuation of £20,000-40,000 ($30,388-60,766).

Gallaher led the Original All Blacks, the first rugby team from New Zealand to play outside of the Antipodes.

The record is held by another Original All Blacks shirt that made £22,000 ($33,428) at Graham Budd Auctions earlier this year.

We have a fascinating range of sports memorabilia for sale.
