Gemini covers RR Auction
The first day covers are signed by various members of the Gemini program

The Gemini program ran from 1962-1966, and was used to develop techniques to be used for the Apollo Moon landing program - including training astronauts in EVA (or spacewalks) and re-entry to Earth.

The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh missions in the program are represented, and the lot includes a signature from James Lovell, who went on to command the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission.

Signed covers are classic items of space memorabilia and often achieve strong results at auction. In November last year a signed, flown cover from the personal collection of Apollo 11 command module pilot Michael Collins realised $46,875 at Heritage Auctions.

A booklet by rocket scientist RH Goddard titled "Liquid-Propellant Rocket Development" is at $550.

Goddard was the scientist responsible for the development of the liquid fuelled rocket, first launched in 1926, whose work made the space age possible.

The booklet was published in 1936 and features his signature on the title page. It reports on the successful launch of the first liquid-propelled rocket, which was bankrolled in part by Charles Lindbergh.

We have this Charles Lindbergh autographed menu for sale.

Also featured in the sale is a cardstock photograph of the Wright Brothers' first flight, signed by Orville Wright.

We have a wide range of space memorabilia available to purchase, including the comb and scissors used to cut Neil Armstrong's hair and a complete set of signed photographs from all the astronauts to walk on the Moon.
