A one-off green crocodile leather Princess Diana handbag is to sell at Heritage Auctions to benefit the American Red Cross.

This crocodile skin Princess Diana handbag is one of a kind 

The stunning piece was designed by Lana Marks, fashion mogul and a close friend of Diana. It’s offered with an estimate in excess of $10,000.

Marks created the handbag in 1995, at Diana’s request. The princess was delighted with the result, calling it “the most beautiful handbag imaginable”.

She owned several examples in a range of colours and materials.
