Diana’s Swan Lake necklace to make $12.1m?

Guernsey’s is taking offers for Diana’s iconic “Swan Lake” necklace.

The princess wore the eye-catching piece, made up of almost 200 diamonds, while attending a performance of the ballet in 1997.

It was last sold to a Ukrainian collector for around $625,000 in 2010.

The auction house now expects it to make around $12.1m.

Memorabilia associated with key moments in Diana’s life are in high demand, with the dress she wore to dance with John Travolta at a White House dinner in 1985 selling for £240,000 ($300,538) in 2013.
